Starting Wage: $27.77/hour + $5.00/hour shift differential 

Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, 5:00PM - 5:00AM + available overtime

What you will do:

Sets up, programs and operates brake presses in accordance with outlined methods and procedures to safely and properly form various parts Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation Adjusts on machine and programs as required Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces Stacks, marks, labels and transports finished work pieces May on occasion assemble subassemblies Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements Ability to use hand tools Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to operate hand tools Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Previous manufacturing experience
