**Job Title: Brake Press Operator**
**Job Description**
The Brake Press Operator will run smaller CNC press brakes that perform air bends, working with thin gauge (20g) stainless steel parts. This role requires experience in setting up machines, changing out die kits, and experience in reading blueprints to build parts. The operator will use precision tools, cutting, and measuring down to 1,000th of an inch. They will set up the brake press, use measuring tools to ensure precision, and work with micrometers, calipers, protractors, measuring tapes, and blueprints.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate brake press machines.
+ Work with stainless steel, performing metal bending and sequencing.
+ Ensure parts fit back into the machine properly for the next bend.
+ Use precision tools to measure down to 1,000th of an inch.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to set up brake presses.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least one year of recent brake press experience doing setups, adjustments, working with blueprints, and bending and sequencing.
+ Alternatively, at least one year of CNC machining experience with grinders, lathes, mills, etc.
+ Experience with Accurpress or Safan is ideal, but any brand experience is acceptable.
+ Ability to set up and change tooling.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and protractors.

**Work Environment**
This is a first shift position, working from 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment is a clean, well-lit facility (155,600 sq ft between two locations). The dress code is casual with jeans allowed, but steel-toed shoes are required. The facility primarily works with thin gauge sheet metal, currently focusing on air purifiers and small industrial enclosures.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hartland, Wisconsin.
