**Job Title: Brake Press Operator** **Job Description** The Brake Press Operator will run smaller CNC press brakes that perform air bends, working with thin gauge (20g) stainless steel parts. This role requires experience in setting up machines, changing out die kits, and experience in reading blueprints to build parts. The operator will use precision tools, cutting, and measuring down to 1,000th of an inch. They will set up the brake press, use measuring tools to ensure precision, and work with micrometers, calipers, protractors, measuring tapes, and blueprints. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate brake press machines. + Work with stainless steel, performing metal bending and sequencing. + Ensure parts fit back into the machine properly for the next bend. + Use precision tools to measure down to 1,000th of an inch. + Read and interpret blueprints to set up brake presses. **Essential Skills** + At least one year of recent brake press experience doing setups, adjustments, working with blueprints, and bending and sequencing. + Alternatively, at least one year of CNC machining experience with grinders, lathes, mills, etc. + Experience with Accurpress or Safan is ideal, but any brand experience is acceptable. + Ability to set up and change tooling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and protractors. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including fully covered dental insurance, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match program, 10 paid holidays, and a clean, well-lit working environment. The work environment is a clean, well-lit facility (155,600 sq ft between two locations). The dress code is casual with jeans allowed, but steel-toed shoes are required.
