Position: Branch Generalist
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift (Weekdays Monday - Friday)
Location: Strongsville, OH Scholastic Warehouse
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Overview: Are you ready to be the heart of our branch operations? We're seeking a Branch Generalist who thrives in a diverse role, where no two days are the same. From administrative tasks to tech proficiency and beyond, this role is perfect for someone who loves to juggle multiple responsibilities while ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (1-2 Hours per day)
May Demonstrate proficiency in all POS (EZ scan) tech functionsPerform Misc. Warehouse sale EZ scan functionsMonitor, maintain, and order office, breakroom, and restroom suppliesAssist with various branch functions, i.e. labor data card entry, PO invoicing, Scholastic Dollar adjustments, new hire paperwork, production planning release, etc.Monitor and maintain costumes, cash drawers, various marketing and setup kit itemsResponsible for proper handling of product at all timesUtilize all equipment and tools according to process and procedureFollow all safety policies, processes, and procedures at all timesComplete daily Labor Data Collection cards accurately according to company standardsMaintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule and within company standardsMaintain a professional and positive relationship with all co-workers and customersDrug and alcohol free policy complianceOther duties as assignedAt any time may perform tasks associated with other position descriptions as part of individual and team developmentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Remainder of day)
Demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in functions of WA – Level I, including fair production, returns, fulfillment of customer orders, scanner, replenishment, corrugate assembly, truck unload, pulling restocks, pricing, repacking, and replenishment put away.Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy, and quality standards for all work performed.Follow all safety policies, processes, and procedures.Ensure work area is neat, clean, safe, and organized.May operate motorized pallet jacks upon successful completion of the SBF powered equipment program.At any time may work on temporary projects associated with other position descriptions as part of individual and team development.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.Must be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs occasionally on a daily basis.Must be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 30 lbs to a height of 70” occasionally on a daily basis.Must be able to push wheeled cases, which may weigh in excess of 300 lbs, with an initial force of up to 50 lbs and a sustained force of up to 30 lbs.Must be able to stand, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.Must be able to tolerate work in a non-air conditioned environment.Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly processes.Time Type:Full timeJob Type:Regular SeasonalJob Family Group:AdministrationLocation Region/State:OhioEEO Statement:Scholastic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
