Your Role As a Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the management of the facility with a focus on the operations, administration, service, sales and marketing, accounting/financial, and asset utilization. In addition, you'll be involved in the coordination/interaction with staff, colleagues and superiors, overall leadership, and have significant customer contact. Your Responsibilities Act as an engaged ambassador for the company, demonstrate the highest standards of business ethics.Foster and promote a productive work environment and communicate, administer and ensure that company standards and guidelines are met.Guide, train and develop staff while focusing on teamwork.Lead operational performance, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and planning with a focus towards industry and business trends in the market and competition.Actively identify opportunities to improve operations and drive operational performance while focusing on profitable growth, productivity, quality and cost.Responsible for operating the branch within the budget established and the development and service of new and existing business. Your Skills and Experiences 7+ years of domestic/international freight forwarding experience with hands-on sales, operations, and/or financial management experience.Demonstrated people management skills, working in a fast-paced environment, interacting effectively at multiple levels in support of customer relationships and/or prospecting relationships while focusing on building strong relationships. Strong communication and presentation skills, including organizational, analytical and problem solving ability. Proficiency with various MS Office applications.Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, international or business preferred (significant industry experience may be substituted for degree).
