JOB SUMMARY
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a smaller library with approximately eight full-time associates or fewer. The Branch Lead supports the LS&S mission, vision, and values through exceptional leadership and dedicated patron focus. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the operating procedures of a library branch are executed effectively and efficiently. The Branch Lead will lead a team of library professionals committed to creating a thriving library in the heart of their community. Effectively support and build a strong partnership with their local official(s) and manage the patron relationship.
HOURS PER WEEK: 30 HOURS

BA/BS Degree requiredAn individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience required.1 year supervisory experience is preferred1 year of progressively responsible library managerial experience and/or administrative functions of a library, or equivalent knowledge is preferredEEO STATEMENT
