“A Day in the Life”

Mobile Modular Management Corporation is a modular building industry leader. Our business is renting and selling modular buildings to education and commercial markets throughout the United States. We are currently looking for a Branch Production Manager at our location in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will report to the Regional Operations Manager and will be responsible for providing customer service, administrative and sales support, and scheduling the delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings and other rental products. In addition, you will lead, train and mentor production employees that perform repairs and prepare our modular buildings and containers for rental to customers. 

“What You’ll Do”

Lead the team in production efforts.  Specific areas include construction, maintenance, logistics, customer service, contracts, billing, receiving, accounts payable, purchase orders, and project coordination. This is a “working manager” leadership position having oversight and leadership of the branch production employees; the person selected will also execute day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities. Oversee and supervise all production activities. Maintain production schedule and material flow, identify and solve problems. Develop strategies and tactics for identifying and implementing “best practices” for the branch.Lead, mentor and train branch production team members. Establish and implement programs to proactively develop production team members both personally and professionally.Ensure code and quality compliance of completed work in accordance with appropriate UBC, IBC, NEC, ADA and Fire, Life and Safety compliance. Ensure compliance and support of our safety policies with all team members and visitors on site. Continue to develop a positive and efficient team working environment.Develop and maintain relationships with other managers and departments to support a cohesive team environment. Work closely with our sales staff and management to best support our customers and company.Lead the LEAN initiatives to improve efficiencies in the work environment.Work with sales to help increase company market share in established and new market segments.  Assist in developing new products and ancillary services to existing and new clients.Manage vendor base for on-site operations and implement policies and procedures designed to provide excellent service to our customer base and enhance our vendor partnerships.Manage equipment purchasing process and assist with sales decisions to optimize rental fleet utilization.Develop strong relationships with subcontractors for transportation, installation, and service in the marketplace.  Standardize practices among our vendors and consistently improve our business processes.

“Must Haves”

3 or more years of supervisory work experience in a construction or related environmentKnowledge of construction trades: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and HVACKnowledge of Building Code and construction methodsExperience reading blueprints and or doing project estimatesExcellent ability to prioritize and adjust schedules and instill a sense of urgency in team membersComputer literate with computer skills in MS OfficeDemonstrated ability to coach and counsel other workers in a positive mannerCapacity to lead and manage autonomously and as a team memberTrack record of hands-on successExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skillsEffective project and time management skillsExperience in utilizing financial metrics to manage costsExcellent attention to detail Ability to handle multiple responsibilitiesValid Driver’s license

Prior experience in construction, remodeling, renovation or repairs and modifications to buildings, interior/exterior a plusBi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
