Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk in the Credit Union industry, located in Wilmington, California. This role involves providing top-notch customer service, handling banking transactions, and adhering to federal banking regulations. Proficiency in Spanish is crucial for this position. Responsibilities: • Providing excellent customer service to members and resolving their inquiries effectively • Handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly • Processing customer applications and ensuring they are completed correctly • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of all customer credits • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account activity • Adhering to all federal banking regulations during all operations • Utilizing Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base • Assisting members in understanding and making the most of the services and products offered by the Credit Union. Requirements • Proficiency in Spanish language is required • Extensive knowledge of banking transactions • Familiarity with federal banking regulations • Exceptional customer service skills • Experience in a credit union or retail banking environment preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information • Proficiency in using banking software and systems • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively • Willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and processes • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.
