Brand Acquisition Specialist-BGC
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new brand partnership opportunities to expand the company's product portfolio and increase market presence.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to attract and onboard high-value brands, ensuring alignment with Alibaba International's business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and potential brand partners.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target brands, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, legal) to coordinate resources and ensure a seamless onboarding process for new brand partners.
- Negotiate and close deals, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to Onboarding and Incubation
- Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of high potential brands to onboard into the platform. This may include developing strong channels and partnerships to strengthen lead generation
- Maintain good relationships and trust with brands to understand more about their business, and key success factors
- Educate sellers on Lazada features and conduct pocket sessions with the sellers about the right investment and strategies to grow their business
- Interact with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that the products uploaded by new brands receive enough visibility in different modules and produce conversion
- Perform excellent account management and assist in Brands’ concerns
- Analyze Brand-level information on sales and order performance and tool adoption
