As a Brand Activation Manager, you will play a leadership role in driving the end-to-end creative packaging strategy activation and operations across multiple categories in support of the Enterprise-Owned Brand portfolio, Limited Time Offer (LTO) initiatives, and Design Partnerships. You’ll create and implement industry leading creative and content strategies for brands, business and guests across categories within the pyramid. The goal is to create industry-leading consumer experiences in-store that cater to a diverse array of customer needs, encompassing tens of thousands of SKUs. You’ll report into the Sr. Brand Activation Manager.
Core Responsibilities and Key Results:
You’ll be part of and contribute to leading categories/business within a pyramid to adapt brands, businesses and guest strategies into creative + content briefs to create industry-leading consumer experiences for in-store and online environments.
You’ll collaborate with and facilitate with a wide range of cross-functional teams, including Brand Management, Creative (Design and Copy), Production Design, Creative Production, Structural Packaging Product Design, Merchandising, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, Marketing, and Insights.
Maintain a working knowledge of our guest, business, market, competitive insights to identify opportunities to improve consumers’ experience of Target’s Owned Brand portfolio via in-store creative and content communications.
You will create creative packaging strategy activation for cross-category/business and brand themes across Target’s Owned Brands portfolio, ensuring alignment and a consistent, scalable experience both in-store and online.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners locally and globally across teams to manage project priorities effectively, ensure budget alignment, escalate risks and delays, monitor project progress.

About You:
4-year degree or equivalent experience
4+ years’ professional experience in marketing, brand strategy or brand management; previous retail experience a plus
Demonstrated success in strategic thinking, brief writing, and project/portfolio planning
Proven ability to balance independent work with effective collaboration to advance initiatives, including successful guidance of cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with varying levels of detail across multiple data sources
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong aptitude in applying independent judgement, negotiation and collaborative problem-solving techniques to reach informed decisions
Comfortable operating in an ambiguous and rapidly changing retail / business environment

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
