Brand Ambassador

**Job Purpose**
A Hawaiian Telcom Brand Ambassador is responsible for promoting the Hawaiian Telcom brand positively in a multitude of settings. They are expected to actively engage and interact with consumers throughout the event experience, with the end goal of reinforcing and/or increasing brand awareness and driving sales. Brand Ambassadors will have a wide range of job responsibilities related to event marketing, community engagement, content creation, and more.
This role is ideal for motivated, personable, high-energy individuals who value a flexible schedule and are able to work as a team. Motivated, responsible, and organized individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills will thrive in this role.
Candidates must have a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Hawaii State Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards. Hawaiian Telcom defensive driving certification required within 30 days of hiring date.
**Essential Functions**
+ Conduct event promotion activities (75%) including but not limited to:
+ Driving Hawaiian Telcom Marketing Vehicle
+ Complete event setup & breakdown
+ Distribute premium items as directed
+ Engage and interact with consumers at events
+ Trouble-shoot challenges during the course of event
+ Assist in management of events
+ Complete and submit event recaps & photos for events in a timely fashion
Administrative Duties (10%) including but not limited to:
+ Maintaining inventory of premium items
+ Filing reports and timesheets
+ Attending trainings and meetings
Community engagement and content creation (10%)
Other duties as assigned (5%)
**Education**
+ Four years of High school or Equivalent
**Work Environment**
+ Driving or riding in a vehicle for up to 2 hours at a time.
+ Outdoor work. Subject to environmental conditions.
+ Able to lift 35lbs, repeatedly.
+ Able to stand for long periods of time.
**General Work Experience and Other Skills/Abilities**
+ No experience necessary; however one (1) or more years' experience in direct customer (face-to-face) service or sales preferred
+ Proficiency in English through verbal and written communication
+ Experience using personal computer and software applications; Android and/or iOS mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets; familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
+ Comfortable using Social Media to engage with followers
+ Engaging, dynamic personality -- must enjoy speaking and listening to people
+ Strong work ethic, unparalleled integrity, and drive to succeed
+ Great attitude and professionalism
+ Responsible and punctual
+ Ability to maintain high level of self-motivation
