We are seeking creative, collaborative, and hardworking team members to help elevate the UK College of Public Health’s brand awareness through a variety of channels, including social media and events.
The Brand Ambassador position is a 5-hour-per-week, hybrid position, with some in-person work at the College of Public Health, and some work that may be completed remotely. In-person and remote work can vary week-to-week and is dependent on the projects Brand Ambassadors are assigned to. The Brand Ambassadors will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director, as well as other members of the team to support the school’s marketing and communications strategy and produce engaging content.
Applicants should have experience in social media content creation and video production, including content planning, capturing and editing, with an interest in engaging a variety of audiences, both in-person and through social media. In this position, you will appear on camera and conduct interviews with students, faculty and staff from the UK College of Public Health community to capture content for videos.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities ● Must be a current or incoming undergraduate or graduate student at the UK College of Public Health
● Experience working with video editing software and capturing video and photography on mobile devices
● Organized and dependable with the ability to move a project from ideation to completion with limited supervision
● Creative, solution-oriented, and adaptable with an interest in learning new things
● Ability to work independently and as part of a group
● Proactive and efficient communicator
● Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks with close attention to detail
● Skilled at using social media to create and share engaging content. Direct experience using Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and/or Facebook in a marketing/communications capacity is preferred but not required. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
