Brand Associate

The incumbent will assist the Brand Manager in developing the overall strategic plan and direction for all brands. The priority focus will be to drive the long-term growth of our brands through effective communication strategy setting, brand communication & consumer programs development, and distribution & portfolio expansion. The incumbent will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales department to ensure the smooth translation of strategies into plans.

 

As the Brand Associate, you will:

Be responsible for the excellent execution of brand programs. Continuously measure the program tool's effectiveness to keep improving the communication platform & optimize the marketing budget. Monitor brand evaluation metrics (awareness, perception, etc.) to establish performance. Engage in the development of brand communication, consumer, and trade strategies to strengthen brand equity and ensure alignment to brand positioning as defined by HQ Global Flagship Brands (GFBs). Assist the Brand Manager in New Product and Packaging Development Initiatives. Act as internal point person to liaise with partners such as R&D, GSC, and Brand Group. Work in close collaboration with Consumer & Trade Marketing teams in order to ensure alignment with the market and integrated activities. Generate innovative ideas, especially to find new ways to reach the consumer. Oversee adaptation of global guidelines to suit local specificities. Liaise contact with local agencies and management of projects contracted to the agencies. Lead timelines and negotiate budgets allocated to the agencies. Build up a coordinated and supportive working collaboration with MJT teams/departments. Provide timely and regular updates on competitor activities.

 

Who are we looking for?

University Degree graduate. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a multinational company including a minimum 2 year experience in marketing communication and/or strategic insight (consumer research) with FMCG companies or advertising agencies. Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Strong MS Office skills and presentation skills. This incumbent needs to develop and adapt a powerful, clear, and consistent communication strategy to deliver brand promise, addressing its key values and attributes to drive brand objectives/strategies.
