Global Design is the creative, visionary team responsible for the Colgate-Palmolive global portfolio of products, which are found in 75% of homes around the world. We have over 20 brands in five categories – Home Care, Oral Care, Personal Care, Skin Health, and Pet Care. Our deliverables range from the emotional components of a brand (look, tone, and feel, brand identity) to the visual identity (product and package design, digital, video, and photo production) for all of our brands. We are design-obsessed. We're looking for a temporary **Brand Design Management Consultant** to join our Global Design team. The role of the Brand Design Management Consultant will lead brand design efforts for select businesses. The ideal candidate is an experienced brand design management professional with a strong grasp of creative processes, excellent communication and project management skills, and experience working within a CPG on global brands. _**This contract position is temporary through December 2025 and will be managed through a 3rd party staffing partner. No 3rd party solicitations.**_ **What you will do:** _Strategic Leadership in Brand Design:_ + Manage and lead medium complexity and medium impact business initiatives with a day-to-day perspective of the organization. + Drive the strategic development and implementation of the overall design vision for select brands. + Collaborate with marketing teams and design partners to ensure the execution of design principles that align with the broader brand strategy. + Assist in maintaining global brand consistency by contributing to and adhering to brand governance frameworks. _Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:_ + Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, and Insights, to align design strategies with overall business goals. + Work closely with Senior Brand Design Manager, providing input and support to ensure design initiatives reflect the global brand vision and marketing strategy. _Project and Resource Management:_ + Lead the planning and execution of design projects in collaboration with the Senior Design Manager, managing tasks within defined schedules and budgets. + Support the creation of Design Briefs and Project Plans, ensuring high standards in packaging and other brand experience projects. + Collaborate with external creative partners, such as agencies, photographers, and illustrators, to maintain quality and consistency in design work. + Monitor project timelines and budget adherence, ensuring seamless handoffs and integration from design to production. _Communication and Influence:_ + Effectively communicate and execute design vision and strategy to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. + Develop and deliver presentations that convey creative strategies and influence design decisions throughout the organization. **Basic qualifications:** + A Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field + 8+ years of experience in brand design/design management + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, GSuite, and other relevant design software/tools + A visual portfolio showcasing expertise in CPG design and design strategy + Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful design strategies + Familiarity with packaging printing processes + Strong understanding of the design process from concept to execution + Laser-sharp project management skills + NYC accessible and able to work in office 3 days a week and as required by the business needs **Preferred qualifications:** + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills + Experience with cross-functional collaboration + Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent typography and color management skills + Ability to inspire and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment + Flexible, open team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously in a global context **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $75.00 - $90.00 USD/hr Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year).
