Gensler’s Brand Design studio brings design and strategic consulting services dedicated to crafting purposeful brands for business- and consumer-oriented clients from small to large. We amp up the emotional power for every brand client we work with, using all the media of today’s diverse landscape, to make meaningful experiences for their people.
We need a 5-star graphic designer who’s going to make our team even better with wild creativity, thoughtful insight, and a passion for making unforgettable brands (maybe some jazz hands in there too).
Your Role
The ideal brand designer has a background in graphic design and some prior experience designing visual identity systems, brand collateral and communications applications such as social media, presentations, digital marketing, swag, or anything else that contributes to brand fidelity.
You will work on a wide variety of visual identities, environmental graphics, branded environments and wayfinding projects, working with clients, project directors, teams, fabricators and others.
What You Will Do
Contribute to all facets of a project from concept to execution, designing and developing multiple concepts and refining them through client reviews to final implementation.
Support multiple design teams to develop, design and implement brand visual communications within a project.
Produce design identity guidelines, production-ready artwork, and other materials in support of clients, under the direction of the project team.
Collaborate with multiple internal design practices, including workplace, retail, education, sports, and health & wellness.
Champion Gensler’s diversity and inclusion goals with respect to teammates, partners, and consultants
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design or similar.
1-6 years of related experience in visual identity design, brand systems, and designing in user-experience based environments.
Digital/video experience or exhibit/environmental graphic design experience a plus.
Exposure to real estate business, architectural or interior design plans, sections, elevations and details preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in the latest design software specifically Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Illustrator, InDesign, and photoshop, and CAD Tools.
Sketchup & Revit experience a plus, but not required.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview
*For consideration, you must submit a portfolio and your resume in PDF format.
