The position of Agency Brand Director focuses on creating a lasting and positive agency brand impression among current and future clients and employees. This is achieved by making sure the agency’s advertising, communication, marketing and award activities send out the right image.
Additionally, the position focuses on developing and growing a brand’s profit through bringing in new business, while also through research and working with internal teams, finding opportunities and growing business with existing agency clients.
The Agency Brand Director is the custodian of the face of the agency and reports directly into the Cape Town Managing Director.

Job DescriptionThe Brand Director will:
Oversee and approve all press releases for distribution to press
Maintain key press relationships and identify high-level opportunities
Oversee the Agency’s awards programme, approve award submissions, review case study videos and attend shows when necessary
Oversee, drive and approve all social media content for Machine social channels
Oversee and approve all updates for website
Oversee and approve branding requirements for the agency, as well as the annual client Christmas gift
Compile presentations and/or speak at industry events
Lead on new business pitches for the agency, and compile final presentations
Drive the new business pipeline for Machine_
Work with the operations team to assist in the overall look of the business, ensuring a consistent image of the business both internally and externally
Assist in setting up new clients post pitch
QualificationsRequirements:
