Job Description

The Brand Manager - Fillers at Allergan Aesthetics will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing brand strategies that drive growth, enhance market presence, and ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives for our flagship Juvéderm bands  and other next generation filler products in the pipeline.

This position requires a dynamic, strategic thinker with a passion for aesthetics, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of brand management in the pharmaceutical or consumer health industry. The Brand Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical, regulatory, and global marketing, to deliver innovative and effective marketing campaigns that align with our business objectives and resonate with our target audience.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with Allergan Aesthetics' overall business goals and market dynamics.Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape including monitoring and analysing brand performance metrics, sales data, market share, and ROI of marketing activities.Define brand positioning, value proposition, and key messaging.Create and implement marketing plans, including promotional campaigns, product launches, and lifecycle management strategies.Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring all activities are aligned with brand strategy and market needs.Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in brand management.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.Gather and leverage customer insights to inform brand strategies and enhance customer engagement.Plan and execute customer events, webinars, and other engagement activities.Lead cross-functional teams, including medical, regulatory, and global marketing, to ensure alignment and successful execution of brand strategies.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales training programs and tools.Provide marketing support for field sales efforts, including the development of sales aids, presentations, and other collateral.Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to drive brand initiatives forward.Coordinate with creative agencies, vendors, and internal teams to produce high-quality marketing materials.Serve as the brand champion within the organization, advocating for the brand and its strategic priorities.Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to align supply plans with market demand and promotional activities and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions to maintain consistent product availability.Utilise digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to reach and engage target consumers.Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility.Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.Coordinate and manage press releases, media events, and other PR activities.Collaborate with local, regional, and international teams to prioritize and resource business excellence objectives.Translate complex technical information into business-focused language for stakeholder understanding.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Optimise business processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.Ensure all business activities comply with relevant legal requirements and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications – science, healthcare, business or marketing related degreePharmaceutical sales experience and 5+ years pharmaceutical marketing experience either within an agency or holding an industry position.  Prior experience in Facial Aesthetic industry is advantageousMarketing experience with a major (top 10) pharmaceutical company would be highly regarded, but not essentialProven experience launching digital campaigns across all platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet)Experience launching campaigns/programs to multiple stakeholders both internally and externallyExperience working with a CMS website, either directly or through an agencyDemonstrated strong project management skills to manage agencies, budgets, expenses and execute plansAbility to lead and motivate a high performing team without direct authorityBusiness acumen – strategic thinking and sound approach to understanding and articulating market dynamics, key business drivers and marketing plans in a compliant mannerAn entrepreneurial attitude, and desire to create new, forward-thinking solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skillsHigh degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environmentA strong track record of sales and market share growth in mature marketsEffective negotiation, analysis and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritise within strict deadlines, balancing planning and implementation responsibilitiesIntermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
