Our client is searching for a Brand Marketer for Cape Town
Roles and Responsibilities
Using marketing strategies to make new sales or open new doors for the companies
Responsible for providing information and insights regarding customers markets competitors and campaign effectiveness to measure performance and support business decisions to the marketing Manager and relevant department heads
Should be skilled in researching revenue generating industry sectors
Able to set budget extraction per client either new or existing and use this as budget per annum
To be accountable for set budgets
To measure set budgets via a reporting structure monthly and quarterly
Meeting or exceeding number of revenue generating clients to be researched and developed
Planning and managing various research projects and be able to work with senior management to interpret findings and to reach the aims of this division
Able to work independently and have a full diary on a daily basis planned in advance including time for admin
Keep abreast about mail Email Internet print and social media campaigns
Follow and report on deliverables set by marketing manager
Report on the deliverables on a weekly and monthly basis through set reporting structures
Be able to travel if and when required
Avail yourself for brand training for 3 to 5 full days thereafter for 1 to 2 days on a monthly/ quarterly basis for assessment of set deliverables
To take briefs from clients in a professional manner and be able to effectively brief head office
To discuss potential new leads with the marketing manager before pursuing based on the reporting structure
Requirements
3 to 5 years marketing or sales experience
Proficiency in MS Office with Advanced Excel skills
Clothing knowledge advantageous
Experience in report writing related to set deliverables
Time management planning and organising skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Must enjoy problem solving and be able to take initiative to solve issues quickly
Must be driven and result orientated
Strong written and verbal skills
The ability to interact at various levels with the client ie Branch or Site level Regional or Divisional Office level Head Office level Conference or Presentation level
Must have own transport
