Brand Operations Support Manager

**Job Description**
The Brand Operations Support Manager will function as a member of the Aramark Retail Strategy team within the Corporate Marketing Organization and will be responsible for supporting the field in the overall performance of key brands within Aramark?s portfolio of retail brands. Key activities for the position are monitoring performance overall and against brand standards, proactively initiating performance improvement activities and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met by both Aramark operators and branded partners. Additionally, the Brand Operations Support Manager will oversee information gathering from brand partners and develop/maintain information sharing vehicles and communication processes between Aramark and brand partner field and corporate stakeholders.
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
The Brand Operations Support Manager will collaborate with retail strategy & LOB leadership team members, brand partners, field operations teams to ensure overall brand performance is consistent with brand standards by utilizing key activities.
Key activities include but are not limited to driving performance by identifying trends, managing operational relationships with key brand partners, fully understanding brand standards & operating and marketing initiatives, analyzing performance of current locations for inconsistencies and best practices and establishing a communication system to relay brand information.
The position requires significant collaboration with cross-functional team members, field operating organizations, and brand partners.
**Job Responsibilities**
Specific responsibilities of the Brand Operations Support Manager, include, but are not limited to:
+ Program Development: Assist in leveraging Performance Report to monitor overall brand performance on a regular cadence.
+ Identify trends to address, both positive and negative, most notably in the areas of revenue and major cost categories
+ Address broad trends with brand corporate resources and non-system issues with local operators
+ Develop and deliver a monthly brand performance analysis report
+ Execution Excellence: Establish and manage relationships with key operating constituents in both Aramark?s and brand partner organizations
+ Leverage brand resources to ensure operations meet or exceed established brand standards
+ Fully understand key brand partner training standards for license store management and staff
+ Monitor compliance with training standards to ensure 100% compliance with brand requirements
+ Develop and initiate system for addressing standards & training non-compliance
+ Program Measurement: Fully understand key brand marketing initiatives prior to release by aligning with appropriate brand resources
+ Communicate expectations regarding marketing execution with license store operators
+ Establish and launch a system for exception allowance and monitoring non-compliance
+ Work with brand partner resources to keep abreast of overall trends and brand strategic developments; assess applicability for Aramark operations
+ Facilitate strategic development activity as appropriate
+ Program Implementation and Training: Establish a communication network to facilitate the flow of essential brand information to appropriate parties, including:
+ Opening / closing activity
+ Brand / marketing updates
+ Daily operational support
+ Monitoring brands? execution of operational support / compliance
+ Ensure system includes contact update mechanism
+ Establish a brand ?community,? which allows the sharing of best practices and other important network benefits
+ Manage brand information communication with the Higher Ed organization via the Channel web site and other communication vehicles to be determined
**Qualifications**
**Experience and Personal Attributes**
? Minimum of 5 years? experience in food industry retail, operations, marketing, brand management or other related discipline(s) .
? Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and influencing, plus the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
? The ability to influence without formal authority, sound judgment, the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new situations
? The ability to interface with senior management.
? Encourages collaboration through cooperative relationships. Able to express candid and contrary views.
? Establishes credibility and garners respect all levels within the organization. Presents ideas logically and assertively. Facilitates consensus and able to make decisions that are best for the business.
? Proficiency with PC software applications with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of web management applications helpful but not required.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem solving and adjusting priorities to meet deadlines and Senior Management requests.
EDUCATION
The successful candidate will ideally possess a bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university. Preferable fields of study include business or hospitality management. Advanced degree is a plus.
