Brand Presales Solution Consultant

The Brand PreSales Solution Consultant role is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a growing and diverse team and work in a fast-paced software environment as part of a growing business unit to handle some of our largest global brand customers.

 

Contribute in a meaningful way to provide quality software solutions and professional services to a broad range of global and regional CPG companies.

 

This role, the Brand PreSales Solution Consultant, will serve as a counselor and advisor to customers and technical support to the Account Managers, providing business knowledge, advice, and guidance throughout the sales cycle. This role is vital in enabling X-Rite’s customers to realize the maximum value and benefit from our software solutions.

 

Your primary focus will be working with the NA Brand Account Manager and other members of the Brand Global Strategic Accounts team to address potential customers’ technical needs and help to close new business from sales leads.

Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:

Develop a thorough understanding of all related products/services that can bring value to X-Rite customers.Partner with Sales and customer success to identify revenue prospects and opportunities to increase our high-value service impact.Develop strong consultative relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and process-improvement requirements.Work in partnership with Sales Account Managers to articulate and demonstrate X-Rite software solutions’ value proposition to prospective customers.Demonstrate how the proposed solution can add substantial value in replacing or enhancing the customer’s current business environment.

Spanish, a plus.

Key Deliverables

Provides technical expertise to Account Managers and customers to present X-Rite Solutions and consult with customers during the sales process to qualify leads and progress the direct sales funnel.Responsible for developing and creating Statements of Work in collaboration with Account Managers and leadership for proposal to customers.Define and deliver consulting services for customers related to color standards, specifications, and procedures for internal stakeholder groups and supply chain.Develop and deliver internal training for X-Rite Solutions Architects and Applications Engineers to support packaging converters and suppliers to train and support brand-customer quality programs. Problem Solver - Act as Product Champion and 2nd Level escalation contact for products in portfolio core to the brand solution set.Responsible for preparing and delivering a Brand’s Printer Launch and primary point of contact for program-related inquiries.

Your Education and Background Experience will include:                                      

5 to 7 years of proven track record in a customer-facing or relevant technical role (Technical Pre-Sales, Solution Architect, Product Management, Technical Consultant, or Client Services).Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.Experience and exposure in: Color Management for Print & Packaging, Enterprise software platforms, or SaaS experience; Software implementation, consulting, or subject matter expert.Technical background with experience in Packaging, Artwork, Printing considered a plus.Strong track record of working in a customer-facing environment and driving initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.Strong analytical and consultative skillset to analyze site specific workflow processes and recommend solutions that define improvement and streamlining for customers.Self-motivated with good interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to handle multi-level relationships.Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
