We are seeking a creative and strategic Brand Strategy Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in analyzing brand objectives, themes, asset utilization, tone, and taglines to craft innovative, results-driven sales presentations in the sports sponsorship industry. You will be responsible for understanding and synthesizing brand insights, developing activation platforms, and delivering cohesive narratives that align with client objectives. By leveraging LEARFIELD’s diverse mix of digital platforms, traditional assets, data, and content, you will create compelling, holistic sponsorship solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for brands as well as unique property-focused opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Insight & Analysis: Understand and synthesize client brand insights and objectives to inform sponsorship strategy, ensuring all sponsorship materials align with the brand’s tone, values, and goals.Holistic Sponsorship Solutions: Develop integrated sponsorship and activation platform concepts that provide holistic solutions, utilizing Learfield’s diverse assets (digital, traditional, data) to meet client objectives.Copy Development & Storytelling Mastery: Ensure the seamless delivery of a cohesive and persuasive narrative that ties together brand objectives, creative ideas, and strategic activation, while reinforcing the brand's voice throughout the presentation.Client-Centric Presentations: Collaborate with sales teams to design customized presentations that reflect the client’s voice, brand identity, and objectives, maintaining authenticity and brand integrity.Premium Opportunity Deck Development: Create and curate impactful 101 decks and presentations for property or premium opportunities, ensuring clear communication of value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. Participate in presenting recommendations to clients.Strategic Ideation: Generate fresh, innovative themes, taglines, and sponsorship narratives that enhance engagement and elevate the sales process.Innovative Platform Creation: Develop and articulate comprehensive sponsorship activation platforms that incorporate Learfield’s mix of digital platforms, traditional assets, data, and content, ensuring they resonate with the target audience.Best Practices Implementation: Apply industry best practices to ensure sponsorship presentations are optimized for effectiveness while staying consistent with the client’s brand guidelines.Asset Utilization & Innovation: Evaluate and creatively use brand assets (logos, imagery, messaging) to enhance the visual and strategic appeal of sponsorship materials.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal creative, support, research, Digital, and sales teams to ensure that sponsorship strategies are suggested in practical and deliverable ways.Market & Consumer Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to refine and improve branding and sponsorship approaches.Qualifications:
4 years of experience in brand strategy, sponsorship marketing, advertising, or a related field, with an interest in the sports or entertainment industries.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to assist in creating persuasive, narrative-driven presentations.Strong presentation skills and familiarity with presentation software, particularly PowerPoint.Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills, including the ability to assist in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for learning how to develop innovative sponsorship strategies and solutions.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and support cross-functional efforts.Familiarity with digital platforms, content creation, and traditional marketing assets is a plus.Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.Learfield offers a full spectrum of benefits for eligible employees including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance and Other Insurance Plans, Flexible Paid Time Off (including Parental Leave), Paid Holidays, 401(k), and Short/Long Term Disability.
