Who We're Looking For - Branded Content Manager

The Branded Content Manager is a critical role that bridges the gap between audience trust and advertiser goals by planning, creating, and optimizing branded content that aligns with The Penny Hoarder’s voice and values. This position requires a strong blend of storytelling, editorial expertise, marketing savvy, and data-driven decision-making to craft engaging, high-performing content. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to deliver campaigns that meet revenue goals while resonating with our audience.

This role is expected to work on east coast hours, M-F, 9am-5pm EST.

The Impact You Will Make

Content Creation and Optimization: Write, edit, and refine branded content, including articles, sponsored posts, newsletters, and social media copy, ensuring alignment with The Penny Hoarder’s brand voice and standards. Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and Monetize teams to develop creative concepts and strategies that drive campaign success. Analytics and Performance: Use performance metrics (e.g., engagement, click-through, and conversion rates) to analyze and optimize content, improving ROI and campaign outcomes. Compliance: Ensure all branded content meets strict compliance standards while working closely with clients and account managers to navigate complex requirements. Client Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by incorporating feedback and delivering high-quality content that meets their objectives. Project Management: Manage workflows, deadlines, and timelines for branded content projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule. Content Innovation: Test and iterate new formats and approaches to branded content, incorporating audience insights, platform best practices, and creative ideas to improve engagement. Team Leadership: Support the development of performance marketing content creators, mentoring them to grow their skills and deliver high-quality work as the team expands.

What You Bring

5+ years of professional experience in performance marketing, branded content, or digital media. Proven expertise in storytelling and creating data-driven, audience-focused content. Proficiency in Google Analytics or other analytics platforms to track and interpret content performance. Strong editing and writing skills with working knowledge of AP style. Bonus: Experience with paid media products.
