Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is seeking a customer-obsessed branded content leader with a proven track record of creating innovative video formats to drive results for brand partners in the digital, linear, social, and streaming TV space. You are a high energy ideator who can respond to brand briefs by turning around multiple bar-raising creative solutions at lightning speed. You will partner closely with the ASV sales team to develop and present campaign concepts to Account Executives (AEs) and brand reps. You can articulate your creative ideas on paper in a way that gets internal and external collaborators excited. You stay close to customer signals and use past performance data to sharpen new ideas. At the same time, you remain focused on generating first-to-market opportunities that exploit the full capabilities of our unique product and push the boundaries. To be successful in this role you posses a solid understanding of hard costs associated with executing each creative idea and are capable of generating bar raising creative within any budget size. Candidates must be extremely comfortable with ambiguity, possess a strong bias for action and earn trust as a collaborator. Working hand in hand with teams within ASV (marketing, monetization, product, finance, legal) and within Amazon is essential to meet goals.
Key job responsibilities
* Quickly respond to RFPs with bar-raising custom creative concepts
* Lead brainstorm sessions with ASV sales leads and creative producers
* Price out execution costs of concepts and provide low, medium, high alternatives. Partner with talent, operations, set design, creative production as well as external vendors.
* Present campaign concepts to brand reps and Amazon AEs, incorporate feedback into revisions
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and develop mechanisms to simplify cross-team communication
* Own trackers of projects in pre-sale pipeline.
* Provide creative feedback on pitches from external or internal partners.
* Draft campaign overviews including target metrics of success and retrospectives using data.
* Input into monthly and quarterly business reviews shared with leadership as well as annual planning documents.
* Present confidently to org leadership but work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.
A day in the life
No two days are the same in this role. You will have the opportunity to invent and Think Big on this team by building shoppable custom content campaigns. You will report to the Head of Creative Development and work closely with ASV’s Sales, Production, and Brand Success teams. Your focus will be shaping branded content ideas that connect IRL experiences with onsite, social and streaming activations. Drafting pitches and overviews, contributing to strategy documents and presenting them to senior team leaders will be a significant part of your scope.
