Responsibilities
The bread mixer's primary responsibilities include mixing and preparing hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift. This will involve prepping produce and deli products for bakery items; mixing and scaling ingredients; benching dough; loading carts and racks with product; lifting and stacking flour; and operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. In addition, they will assist the bakery clerks and provide world-class service to our guests as needed.
QualificationsYou should meet the following minimum requirements:
At least 18 years of agePossess basic math skillsPhysical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loavesAbility to lift and carry up to 75 poundsHave intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery productsBasic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signageHave a passion for putting out a great product consistentlyA positive attitude is essential!Our hiring team will reach out via text or email once we’ve reviewed your application.
