Job Description:

RN Breast Care Mammography

40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, M-F, 10 hr days, 4 days a week

Job Summary:

The Breast Center Registered Nurse will work in collaboration with staff and physicians to develop the Breast Center Program of patient education, coordination, and referral, primarily directed to those patients with abnormal mammograms.  Will assist Triage Nurses as needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Work up and recover breast biopsy patients for mammo and ultrasound. The nurse will complete pre-calls, attend cancer board meetings, advocate for breast cancer patients, and other duties.

Requirements:

Active Kentucky RN license; BSN preferred.

BCLS certified within 90 days of hire.

Two years relevant patient-care experience required.

Exhibits growing knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
