**Breast Imaging Coordinator -AdventHealth Orlando** **Top Reasons to work at AdventHealth Orlando** • Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando • We offer great benefits with immediate Health Insurance coverage • Career growth and advancement potential • Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America • AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country • We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year **Work Hours/Shift:** + Full Time Mon - Fri 8a - 4:30p **You Will Be Responsible For:** + Assist with facilitating an evidence-based, multidisciplinary, multi-specialty approach to breast cancer care throughout the diagnostic continuum. + Educate, recruit, track and follow-up with women who receive abnormal breast cancer screening results to ensure easy access from diagnostic evaluation to biopsy if needed + Ensure contact of referring clinician when patients are found to need further diagnostic evaluation and/or breast biopsy + Monitor patient scheduling and preparation for radiological guided breast biopsy including MRI; PEM; ultrasound and stereotactic core biopsy + Ensure patient’s understanding of breast biopsy procedure and assists with imaging breast biopsies as needed + Participates in aftercare and follow-up of patients who have had needle biopsies Qualifications **What You Will Need:** + 3 years in Mammography + 1 year experience performing Stereotactic Core biopsies + 1 year experience performing Breast Needle Localizations + Florida State License – General Radiographer or ARDMS certified + ARRT (R), ARRT (M) or ARDMS Certified + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Experience in working with oncology patients. CBPN-I NCBC (Certified breast patient navigator-imaging) Preferred **Job Summary:** The Breast Imaging Coordinator will interface with the breast health team and assist with the coordination of all aspects of screening mammography; diagnostic imaging; clinical evaluation; support services and education for women receiving services at the Mammography Center. The Imaging Coordinator serves as a primary point of intake; assuring patients have appropriate, timely, medical and supportive services. In addition, this position supports: data collection, tumor board processes/participation and marketing/community outreach efforts.
