Breast Imaging Radiologist
The Department of Radiology, in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a breast mammographer, that must be ABR certified/eligible by appointment date. The position is for a full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor rank and will include clinical and teaching duties at the Mays Cancer Center, Robert B. Green Clinic, University Health System, and other hospital and practice plan clinical locations in San Antonio, Texas. Our hospitals are regional referral centers for Level 1 trauma, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, and organ transplantation.
Candidate must possess a Medical Degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree or equivalent. Candidates must have completed a diagnostic radiology residency program and be fellowship trained in Breast Imaging, be ABR board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, have or be able to obtain a Texas State Medical License prior to start date. Duties include teaching medical students, overseeing/mentoring residents in the performance and interpretation of breast imaging studies; participating in research and providing clinical care to patients; and participation in various teaching/patient management conferences.
