Virtua Medical Group, a physician led organization of over 1500 clinicians and growing is looking to add a Breast Surgeon to our well-established breast surgery team.
This is a full-time, employed position with the health system located near Philadelphia with easy access to the New Jersey Shore, New York City, and Washington DC.
The physicians of this specialized surgical practice deal exclusively in the treatment of breasts. They treat both benign and malignant breast diseases with specialization in the latest surgical techniques and use the latest surgical equipment.
Qualified candidates should be fellowship trained and should be board certified/eligible.
Our breast program:
Is part of the Penn-Virtua cancer program
Is NAPBC certified with a full multidisciplinary team including radiologist, pathologists, plastic surgery, medical and radiation oncologists.
Collaborates with nurse navigators, genetic counselors, research coordinators, social workers, OT/PT, and home care to ensure the continuity of care for the patients.
Has call for Breast specialty and is shared equally on a 2–4-week rotation.
