Your Purpose
Lead the execution of minor projects and trials, while supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Brewing Department. Collaborate with the Brewing Optimisation Manager to create glidepaths for KPI improvements and a pipeline of enhancement projects. Take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives to drive progress in key focus areas, leveraging extensive technical knowledge in brewing.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and manage continuous improvement initiatives from start to finish, including trials and change management. Participate in cross-functional business projects and build strong relationships across Burton Brewery and Central/Commercial functions.
• Generate ideas for capital planning. Manage assigned capital projects through all stages to achieve agreed benefits, ensuring excellent stakeholder engagement.
• Help Operational Teams meet scorecard targets and annual budget. Drive continuous improvements in quality, capacity, cost, and efficiency KPIs as part of the annual performance plan.
• Master the tools and techniques of the MCBC World Class Supply Chain system (WCSC). Establish and embed robust standards for changes and improvements. Ensure compliance with Global Q&FS standards, regulatory requirements, and maintain QMS and HACCP pre-requisites.
• Act as a coach and help develop brewing technical knowledge across the site.

• Diploma in Brewing or working towards
• Project involvement
• Lean Manufacturing
• Strong understanding of brewing and focused improvements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Strong influencing skills, artful communicator, and adept in challenging conversations
• Excellent forward planning and organisational skills
• Able to manage time effectively in the face of conflicting priorities and timescales
