Kimley-Horn's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (PA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join their Bridge Structures team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Serve in a technical role on bridge design projectsPerform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and other transportation structuresDevelop full sets of structural drawings and technical specifications without guidanceProjects could include bridge design, box culvert, and retaining wall designTrain and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineeringPerform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire projectLead and provide support for construction phase efforts on building projects in structural engineeringSupport and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team membersContribute to identifying project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients Qualifications 10+ years of relevant engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup with some ability to produce drawings and details, when neededKnowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other structural related design softwareStrong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlinesDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environmentAbility to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrentlyExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff developmentPositive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic     Why Kimley-Horn?
