Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to serve our best clients in the industry to deliver challenging major FDOT transportation-related projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Utilize industry experience and knowledge of client to assist with pursuit strategiesIdentify key pursuitsLead pursuit efforts (pre-sale, teaming, proposal, interview, presentations, etc.)Scope development/refinementNegotiationsTeam (internal/external) collaboration and coordination during project deliveryMonitoring and mentoring of staffLeading internal/external progress meetingsManagement of scope, schedule, and budgetIdentification of opportunities for follow-up workWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in delivering final design for Major FDOT projects including FDOT Miscellaneous Structures, Minor Bridge Design, and Major Bridge Design.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field, Professional Engineer registration and 5+ years of related work experience is required.Proven ability to perform in a leadership role in the structures discipline.Strong business acumen and proven experience in management of staff resulting in profitable projects and favorable FDOT grades.In-depth knowledge of FDOT design procedures, and associated state and federal guidelines/requirements.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
