Job Title: Traveling Bridge Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Inspector for a 3-4 month project involving the construction of a bridge on McCord Air Force Base near Tacoma, WA. This role requires travel and could potentially lead to additional work for the right candidate. The project budget is approximately $10 million.

ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough bridge inspections, ensuring all aspects of the bridge meet safety and construction standards.Oversee bridge repairs and foundations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project specifications.Document inspection findings and provide detailed reports on the condition of the bridge.Coordinate with the construction team to address any issues identified during inspections.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with federal and local regulations.Essential SkillsAt least three (3) years of experience in bridge inspection and repair.Proficiency in bridge foundation inspection.Strong understanding of bridge construction processes and standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.No specific certifications are required for this role.Work Environment

This position is on-site in Washington and requires travel. The project starts on March 10th. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $67.00/hr.
