Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Bridge Department Manager for our one of our largest Engineering Consulting clients Structural/Bridge practices in Ontario, CA. You will coordinate bridge projects, handle the management of the structure group, and ensure project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety. You will also support business development and client relationships.
Day to Day:
Develop and implement growth strategies.
Mentor and lead a team of structural engineers.
Serve in various project management roles.
Coordinate with related practices.
Handle staff utilization and assignments.
Prepare technical and cost proposals.
Participate in professional society meetings.
Provide quality control and assurance.
Support business development activities.
Lead client relationships and engagement.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Management.
California P.E. license
12+ years of experience in bridge and transportation engineering.
Familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures
o Municipal & State government expectations
Ability to lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams.
Background in business development and proposal writing.
Acting as a "Seller-Doer" being heavily involved in client/customer relations Masters Degree Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Management.
Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software.
Experience with MicroStation and Microsoft Office. null
