As a member of our Control Room team, you’ll collaborate closely with producers and directors to ensure each broadcast is seamless, accurate, and visually compelling, airing flawlessly across all time zones.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate fixes to the broadcast to ensure all three hours air editorially and functionally correct across all time zones Write copy for tease bars and story bars Assist live interviews by ordering graphics, working with editors to ensure adequate tape elements, and coordinating live elements with the director from the control room Select music for broadcast bumpins and collaborate with the Rights & Clearances team to report music usage Write and produce anchor leadins, teases, and other scripts Assist in the control room during breaking news or special reports
Qualifications:
One year of control room experience in live news broadcasting preferred Proven ability to stay organized and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Solid research skills for tracking data and visual material Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, starting at 2:00 AM ET This is an overnight, in person position leading up to our live broadcast

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 50,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
