**Overview**
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Broadcast Coordinator. In this role, you will serve as the key liaison between the Broadcast Producers and other departments, ensuring smooth operations and efficient execution of broadcast production projects and the department overall.
**Responsibilities**
• Project Coordination:
- Assist Broadcast Producers in managing day-to-day activities of broadcast production projects.
- Coordinate the scheduling of production meetings, creative briefings, and client review sessions when needed.
• Logistics and Resource Management:
- Create materials and assist in the onboarding of freelance producers and new hires
- Assist with the booking and coordination of vendors, freelancers, and other external partners involved in the production process.
- Ensure Publicis policies and procedures are followed by the creative department
• Communication and Liaison:
- Serve as the connective glue between the Broadcast Producer team members
- Facilitate communication and ensure that all team members are informed of departmental changes, or urgent needs.
- Engage with external vendors to set up lunch and learns.
• Administrative Support:
- Set up, support, and continuous improvement on departmental processes
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining project files, preparing documents for departmental meetings, and tracking the status of production assets.
- Manage and organize contracts, agreements, and other legal or financial paperwork related to broadcast projects.
• Accounting:
- Assist Broadcast Producers (full time and freelance) in the fulfillment of project related paperwork, including expense reports, creation of PO’s, completion reports etc.
- Set up new vendors and updates to their profiles
**Qualifications**
• Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in broadcast production, media coordination, or a similar type of coordinator role.
- Experience working within a supporting role for a department.
• Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer savvy with proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet)
- Interest in advertising, music, radio and film/television.
