WCMH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbus, Ohio, one of the great cities in America, DMA #34, seeks a Broadcast Production Technician which has four primary tasks:

Newscast Production, Studio & Technical Area Upkeep, Editing, Live Production Support.

Operate Grass Valley Ignite Automation Production SystemOperate Teleprompter and monitor Closed CaptioningAdobe Premiere EditingPrepares and strikes studio for newscasts and productionsBuilds and decorates the set and/or provides props used for productionProvide production-related support as needed and may work with outside production facilitiesAssist in digital media productions, liaising with appropriate departmentsMaintains and stores props, sets, lighting equipment

Requirements & Skills:

Degree in Communication or related field, or equivalent training and/or experienceMinimum 2 years experience directing live newscast with Grass Valley Ignite Automation Production SystemMust be able to interact well with news, production and engineering staffDetail orientedExcellent communication and organization skills
