We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Brownfield Interface Operations Supervisor. This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below. 

Title: Brownfield Interface Operations Supervisor
Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Qatar Site 
Working Schedule: 5 days per week / 8-10 hours per day

--Experience Required—
Key Job Accountabilities
•    Ensure the Health & Safety of those on-board and the implementation of the emergency response procedures and action plans in cases of incident on a remote wellhead and/or riser platform.
•    Act as “On Scene Commander” during incidents with responsibility for controlling and coordinating, emergency mustering, search and rescue and shelter in place or evacuation of the facility under direction from the Incident Commander.
•    Perform as the Work Management Permit to Work (PTW) Issuing authority on the remote wellhead and/or riser platform facility and ensure work management controls are in place.
•    Supervise and assist all operations crew and their activities on the Remote Wellhead and/or riser platform as agreed by Management and coordinating work onboard to complete all agreed tasks. Provide oversight to the PTW execution on the remote wellhead platform and/or riser platform as delegated by Management.
•    Ensure that performing parties comply with all relevant and appropriate policies and procedures to safeguard their Brownfield scope including during transit to and from the Remote Wellhead and/or riser platform and duration of time on the facility.
•    Assist in the review of WHP and/or riser platform BF execution procedures and practices and makes recommendations for amendments and improvements. Oversee adherence to all EHS&Q policies, procedures and standards to safeguard company personnel and assets.
•    Perform execution of facility shutdown (closing/opening valves, draining and depressurizing, N2 purge, LOTO isolation, leak/pressure testing, etc), in more demanding situations using precedent, own knowledge, procedures and experience to allow for safe handover of facility to contractor in order to execute BF work.
•    Coordinate activities on-board for efficient and timely completion of work and ensure all activities are completed safely as per the planned schedule. Oversee the transfer of personnel and equipment to and from the Vessel/Barge to facilitate the required Brownfield preparation/execution activities.
•    Support deisolation and restart of facilities post completion of Brownfield work as applicable.

--Minimum Requirements--
Qualifications
•    Completion of secondary School followed by a relevant vocational training programme.

Knowledge and Key Skills
•    7 years’ operator experience with 3 years’ experience as a Senior Operator within oil and gas industry.
•    Experience in all aspects of production equipment and control systems, including facility start up.
•    Technical exposure in the designated process area including experience with PTW system.
