JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Support Representative is the primary point of contact for sales, broker and account teams to initiate and complete administrative tasks associated with the sales and client management responsibilities.

\n

WORK MODEL

Hybrid - Occasional days in office, Temple, Tx.

Monday - Friday, daytime hours

\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

\n\nActs as a point of contact to sales/broker and client management teams to answer questions and resolve issues.\nPrepares, submits and distributes various documents (e.g., RFP templates, open enrollment packets) to uphold sales and implementation processes. Maintains regular stock of materials and collateral.\nMaintains records in many databases, ensuring changes are updated.\nGenerates and distributes various reports and analyses.\nProvides administrative help including filing, printing, note taking, and/or arranging meetings, conference calls or events. Handles incoming calls and emails in a professional way.\nSorts and distributes mail.\nMay process quotes or coordinate client renewals following strict Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) timelines.\nMay meet and greet visitors in a professional and friendly way.\n\n

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

\n\nTwo years customer service/administrative assistant experience preferred.\nFully proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel.\nMust be detail oriented.\nAble to work well under pressure and multi-task to handle consistent workflow. Initiative to follow-up on pending issues.\nExcellent listening skills and retention/memory.\nAbility to accurately enter and manipulate data, maintaining a reasonable error rate as established by departmental standards.\nKnowledge of sales, renewal and/or enrollment processes.\nEffective oral, written and telephone skills.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n\nEDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent\nEXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience\n\nPreferably in a healthcare insurance position\nPosition will be in communication via email but occasional meetings with vendors, brokers, etc., therefore good communication skills a must.\n\n\n
