We have opportunities for UK Standards Verifiers to be involved in the quality assurance of BTEC international centres.
Our International SVs work across BTEC Levels 1-5, and NVQ qualifications, visiting centres across the globe. They liaise with international regional offices to ensure efficient and effective verification, and play a key role in communications between centres, regional offices and the Vocational Assessment team.
We are currently recruiting International SVs for the following BTEC sectors:
Applied Sciences
Art and Design
Business
Construction
Engineering
Hairdressing and Beauty
IHCD
IT
Management
Marine Engineering
Pharmacy
Public Services
Security
We also need SVs who can verify NVQs in:
Beauty Therapy
Customer Services
Hairdressing
Learning and Development
Management
To be considered for an international role you will need experience as a verifier in the UK. You will also need a high level of relevant sector specific knowledge, relevant sector specific qualifications and relevant sector specific vocational understanding up to Level 5.
You will have good time management skills and be able to complete contracts within a short timescale. You must be flexible as you will be expected to work with customised, unique specifications. You must also be able to communicate effectively with others whose first language may not be English.
Please note that International Standards Verifiers may be required to verify Work Skills programmes in addition to subject/sector programmes.

Selection will be in three stages and will be carried out both remotely and face to face.
On receipt of your application we will send you an acknowledgement email and a separate email with instructions on accessing the selection exercise, which you will need to complete via Centra, between 6 th -17 th June .
Applicants who successfully complete the exercise and have the experience required will be invited to attend training in early July. For international SV training dates please see the attached timetable.
