Job Description

As a BTS Compliance Manager in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to co-create compliant technological solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

Ensuring adherence with all relevant BTS policies, regulations, corporate standards, system development procedures and practicesInterpretating and communicating systems compliance requirements, regulations, procedures across the BTS Commercial functionsLeading Commercial BTSs data analytics and compliance strategy globallyLeading compliance activities across multiple projects and client areasPartnering with various business stakeholders, technology leads, external agencies, and partnersOperating as the subject matter expert and point person for Commercial BTS in Europe on compliance topics, procedures, and initiativesEnforcing and advocating secure, safe, compliant development protocols and supporting the deployment of secure systems and solutionsDriving continuous process optimization initiatives based on operational performance monitoring, audits, and leading industry best practicesCultivating a team environment that values strategic thinking, proactive risk management, and continuous learningDriving continuous training and awareness sessions to promote understanding and adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Computer Science or similar course desired. Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent industry experienceExperience in compliance, supplier management, quality assurance, risk management or related business functionExperience in supervisory and managerial experience in a Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or medical device organizationWork experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficialExperience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing senior internal business and functional leadersProven expertise in compliance strategy development, risk management, and project managementStrong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skillsPower BI, Power Apps or Smartsheet experience is an advantage
