Position Overview:

The Kitchen Cook is based out of Bucky’s convenience store in Lawler, IA. The Kitchen Cook is a full OR part-time position and requires occasional weekends. This position reports to the Manager and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions: Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects Actively participate in training or store meetings Prepare and cook a variety of menu items for our patrons Perform cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen equipment according to a cleaning schedule Rotate and stock products delivered upon weekly arrival Consistently follow recipes and ensure customer products always meet Bucky’s standards Assist with monitoring and reporting inventory levels to the manager Provide courteous and friendly customer service without exception Work as a team and ensure the next shift is always set up for success by being properly prepared Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work Position Requirements: Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test Customer service oriented Must be at least 16 years of age Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal Physical Requirements: Ability to reach below/at/above shoulders Pushing/Pulling Twisting/Bending Sitting/Standing/Balancing Simple/Firm grasping Ability to lift/lower over 50 pounds Ability to carry over 50 pounds Squatting/Stooping/Crouching Kneeling/Crawling Gross manipulation (pinching) Benefit Offering: Wage Range- $16+ per hour (Based on experience) Health – Dental – Vision Ins.
