Responsibilities The Budget Analyst will oversee and analyze budget operations for complex DoD financial activities.This role involves tracking, reporting, and providing actionable financial insights to support senior leadership's strategic decisions.Experience with both Army and Joint budgets, handling large-scale budgets exceeding $50 million, and be proficient in financial management systems and tools. Conduct detailed budget analysis and provide data-informed options to senior leadersTrack and report current budget execution in a clear, accessible formatCreate Program Objective Memorandums (POMs) and organizational spend plans Utilize Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power BI and Apps, for data analysis and reportingReport budget execution through the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)Manage Army and Joint funds, including budget allocations for exercises and operational activitiesOther duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years in a DoD or government budget role with a focus on large, complex budgetsBachelor’s degree in a related field (or 6 years of relevant work experience as a substitute)Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and DoD Financial ManagementCertification Level II/IIITechnical Skills: Proficiency in GFEBS, Microsoft Power BI, and Power Apps
Joint Professional Military Education Phase I/II preferred)
