Salary Mid-Point: $95,000 Location: Bethel Park PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Budget Analyst is responsible for the preparation and analysis of the operating budget; both at the consolidated corporate level and for each operating level business unit. The budget Analyst will perform budget to actual analysis, KPI analysis, advise on estimated revenues and profitability, and ensure budget conformance in association with the VP of Finance. Additionally, the Budget Analyst will support the monthly close process with duties such as financial statement preparation and general close responsibilities. 

Responsibilities of the Budget Analyst Develops, coordinates and analyzes budgets for each operating department, including meeting with department managers to assist in developing and understanding their budgets. Perform budget consolidation for overall presentation to senior management. Analyzes departmental expenditures monthly and updates budget to reflect impact to both expense and revenue. Provides variance analysis and recommendations to management regarding spending patterns to remain within budget. Summarizes financial information for the monthly fiscal management presentation including actual and projected results. Develops financial presentation through Excel including graphics. Works with management and departments to create useful management reporting packages and evaluates and make enhancements to reporting package on an ongoing basis. Provides ad hoc analysis reporting to management on an as-needed basis, such as identifying spending trends, analyzing variances or for other purposes as requested. Will assist with monthly closing by preparing financial statements and other general accounting duties as needed. 
Qualifications of the Budget Analyst Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or other related field required 5+ years of experience Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Be self-motivated, an independent thinker with exceptional attention to detail Excellent time management skills and organizational skills Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast paced work environment.
