Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Budget Analyst to join our client’s team. This key role involves monitoring and analyzing financial performance, preparing budgets, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable financial recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset to help guide financial decision-making in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities: + Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports (Source: MC24 Job Search Guide US eBook.pdf). + Review historical financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or improvement. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure alignment with organizational goals. + Monitor budget adherence and work closely with departments to track spending and recommend adjustments as needed. + Prepare presentations and reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to management. + Identify and assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies when necessary. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Source: Robert Half Job Search Guide 2024). + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and compliance standards. + Experience using financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday). + 3+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis. + Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CGFM are highly preferred.
