Budget Analyst
As a Budget Analyst, you will be part of the Content Operations group supporting the Markush, Reactions, and Global Sourcing and Partnerships department. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Budget Analyst **Location:** Columbus, OH (Onsite with remote options on Mondays and Thursdays) **Pay Range:** Up to $40-$42hr (salary estimate upon conversion likely between $65-$75K, depending on level/experience) Candidates: Local to Columbus and able to work W2 **What's the Job?** + Perform daily updates, verifications, and corrections to automated bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing contract work assignments. + Execute month-end financial close responsibilities such as booking accrual entries and ensuring compliance with company policies. + Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting against the general ledger. + Summarize and clearly report financial information to organization stakeholders in compliance with all applicable financial accounting standards. + Assist the business in the preparation of contract work forecasts and budgets. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting. + Working knowledge of Accounting/Bookkeeping required. + Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. + High level of skill with MS Excel (including macros, XLOOKUP, and creation of novel calculators and reports). + Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with staff and management. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in financial operations and project management. + Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. + Potential for contract-to-hire after 4 months. + Flexible work options with remote days available.
