CGI is seeking a Budget Analyst to support Glenn Research Center. Working in an office environment, the Budget Analyst supports NASA clients working in a collaborative team environment. This position is located in our USA OH Cleveland -- USAOHCLE01 office with work performed at the client site on NASA Glenn Research Center Cleveland, OH 44135; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Selected candidate must be able to work out of the client site three days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Serves as a junior analyst to systematically integrate business and financial management processes to ensure the efficient stewardship of public funds.
• Possesses a general understanding of the budget formulation, execution, cost estimating, and administration process.
• Ability to monitor and track obligation and expenditure of funds, detect, reconcile and remedy fiscal discrepancies, and provide cost effective, insightful reporting to decision makers.
• Under contractor supervision, assesses products and procedures for compliance with Government standards, accounting principles and multi-tiered system application standards.
• Familiar with financial management, business case analysis, cost estimating and/or outsourcing requirements.
• Cognizant of interrelationships between financial management requirements and automated solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems concurrently or later.
• Proficient with Excel.
Additionally:
• Support the formulation of strategic financial plans, prepares cost estimates, and correlates financing requirements into executable budgets.
• Possess thorough knowledge of the allocation, execution, and administration of approved budgets.
• Assess products and procedures for compliance with Government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards.
• Ensure that tasks are completed in the time frame specified by the client and assist in the preparation of milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, management, and end user representatives.
• Meet constantly changing deadlines and accept new assignments with varying requirements; deliver to a high level of completeness and accuracy.
• May leverage expertise to support multiple Organizations and/or Centers.
• MA/MS and 0-2 years of experience
• BA/BS and 2 years of experience or
• HS Diploma and 4 years of experience.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• SAP and Business Objects (BOBJ) or other accounting systems
• Government Financial Processes
• Knowledge of developing cost estimates / proposals for potential new work

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $94,200.00.
