Budget Control Supervisor
About the position:
As the Budget Control Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the marketing budget for RMC (Ready-Made Cigarettes) & RRP (Reduced Risk Products). You will report directly to the Consumer Experience Lead, leveraging your expertise in tracking spending, managing procurement processes through SAP, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making.
Main areas of responsibility:
Budget Monitoring and Reporting:
Proactively track and analyze spending against the marketing budget for RMC&RRP Identifying and reporting any deviations Prepare comprehensive financial reports with daily and monthly updates in collaboration with the team leadSAP and Purchase Request Management:
Oversee the procurement process through SAP, ensuring alignment with the marketing budget Manage the end-to-end Purchase Request (PR) process, from order confirmation to service or goods delivery, while ensuring timely validationsInventory Management:
Maintain oversight of marketing material stock, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and regularly update inventory reports
Contract Coordination and Negotiation:
Lead the creation and management of marketing contracts, oversee the bidding process, conduct price negotiations, and manage supplier relationshipsCross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments to streamline budgetary processes and provide insights that support strategic decision-making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in budget control or financial management Proficiency in SAP and experience with Purchase Request processes Strong analytical skills for budget monitoring and financial reporting Familiarity with inventory management and contract negotiation Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Very good in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
