Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Budget Manager to oversee and optimize our client's organization's budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring fiscal responsibility and accuracy. Key Responsibilities + Develop, manage, and oversee the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. + Analyze and forecast financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. + Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain budgetary controls. + Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, variances, and recommendations for corrective actions. + Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies. + Monitor expenditures and provide periodic updates to leadership on budget adherence. + Lead efforts to improve financial systems, tools, and reporting processes. + Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts or accountants, if applicable. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or related roles. + Strong knowledge of financial management software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems). + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. + Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred: + Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification. + Experience in [Insert specific industry, e.g., non-profit, manufacturing, healthcare].
