Builder/Multifamily District Manager

Job Summary:

The Builder/Multi-Family District Manager is responsible for managing and implementing sales strategies and efforts specifically directed toward the Builder and Multi-Family segments. This position will work in coordination with specialized Territory Managers, Business Development Specialists, District Managers and Regional Managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Achieve sales budgets through managing and executing sales plans and efforts Implement and manage corporate selling, pricing and marketing programs and initiatives Develop and implement strategies and efforts to identify and engage prospects and sales targets within the defined scope of the role and business segments Coordinate with and assist the efforts of Territory Managers Develop sales strategies to support new product introductions Establish and build relationships with key customers including Flooring Contractors and End Users Work directly with Business Development Specifiers to develop and implement specification strategies and to target key accounts and business opportunities Evaluate the performance of Territory Managers and Business Development Specifiers Participate in sales management meetings and other sales-related events as needed or directed

Experience/Education Requirements:

Previous sales and product specification experience in flooring or a related field Previous sales management experience in flooring or a related field Professional and effective selling and customer service skills and abilities Proven ability to execute selling strategies successfully Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel frequently, including overnight
