ABOUT THE ROLE

\n

As a Building Automation Controls Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.

You will report to the Sr Field Service Supervisor and travel to the customer sites in the  Tampa and Orlando areas. 

\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the performance and functionality of building automation systems.

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nInstall, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.\nConduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.\nWork with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.\nProvide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.\nTravel 50-75% within the state and possibly out of state. \n\n

 

YOU MUST HAVE\n\n2+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation controls.\nHS Diploma or equivalent. \nValid Driver's license. \n\nWE VALUE\n\nTechnical degree is a plus. \nTridium Niagara framework experience.\nN4 certification.\nGeneral network knowledge\nExperience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)\nPreventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience\nExperience with Tridium, Niagara, N4, EBI, or other Commercial Industrial Systems\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\n
