Job Position: Building Automation Systems Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, programming, maintenance, and optimization of building automation systems (BAS) to ensure energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and seamless system performance. This role involves working with HVAC, lighting, and other integrated systems in commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, program, and implement building automation system controls.Configure and calibrate sensors, controllers, and related hardware.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements.Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal operation.Conduct regular maintenance and software updates for BAS.Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.Provide technical support and training to clients or building staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proficiency in BAS software and programming languages (e.g., BACnet, Tridium Niagara, or Siemens systems).Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and networking protocols.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
